The Terror (Con't) I
“Easy for you to say,” I half-yell, half-sob into the receiver. “You’ve got a perfectly perfect life, with parents stuck together like glue!”
Then I slam the phone down. And ignore all his calls.
...
I say, “Oh, yeah? Then why’d you get married in the first place if all you were going to do was make me….” I am at a loss for words. “Make me miserable!” I defiantly say at last.As soon as I say that, I really want to take it back. Mom’s face crumbles into dejection like the old paper mache we used for the play props, and she goes into her room and slams the door. Then I hear the sobs.
I go out into the cool autumn air, and sit down on the front stoop. Then I look up at the hundreds, thousands, millions, billions, trillions, zillions – at this moment I don’t even know or care how many – stars in the massively huge starry night sky, and wonder why, why, WHY this has to happen to me.

Like Whoa Whoa (Aly & AJ)

Funny, i like the tune. Normally I wouldn't but then again, this hasn't been a normal week...

Love Story (Taylor Swift)

I thought, since everyone's raving about this song, might as well post it so that no one can christen me a primitive gramophone.

A song about having willpower... i like it. =)

Don't it make my brown eyes blue (Crystal Gayle)

Another old song by a singer with my name(My real name - have I forgotten to tell you Abigail's a pseudonym). It's great.

My Un-Boring Weekend

My weekend, as you may be able to conceive, was not at all boring. sure, mom and I did have a few bickers (you didn't need to know that), but overall it was a very pleasant one. On Saturday I still had that ridiculous hay-fever, so I stayed home and didn't go tho the school sports fest, but instead slept all afternoon and took a walk in early evening to clear my poor nostrils. Or was that Friday? Never mind.
Sunday
, a bicker in the morning (none of your business, thankyouverymuch), and then i made Quesadillas for brunch. Mom wanted to go swimming, 'cuz it was boiling, but i had a music lesson, so instead after picking me up, we went at the Makiling Botanic Gardens in Forestry, and went to the creek. I climbed out to the rocks, very, very far away, and Mom sunned on a boulder that had a very good, earthy feeling.
then, after becoming very, very, sweaty, we went to Olivares Plaza. I bought about 6 books and a date stamp in Diplomat. We went to Pizza Hut for an early dinner, and while our orders were cooking, Mom went down with me and bought me a shirt since i was drenched in sweat (My dad's genes).
We went back to our restaurant, and I'm going to list what we ordered here.
What We Ordered
  • 1 Small 3-cheese Pizza
  • Another Pizza, that I don't recall
  • 3 Root beers
  • 1 Seven-up
  • 1 Mushroom Soup
  • 1 plate of bread sticks (free)
Then we went down to Walter-mart and got some IceCream-Sticks, and we went Home.

The Terror (I)
It’s Sunday night. When I first find out that the one terror of my life has arrived – the one that I thought would have never happened to me – the first thing I do is call Nate on the phone and tell him. And when he says that it’s okay, that it happens to anyone, I call him the dumbest jerk in the whole wide world.
“Easy for you to say,” I half-yell, half-sob into the receiver. “You’ve got a perfectly perfect life, with parents stuck together like glue!”
Then I slam the phone down. And ignore all his calls.

Lupang Hinirang (Pagasa)

a very patrimtic song to the Filipino people. The flag is once again raised up high on the flagpole by a young boy...

All These People (Harry Connick)

Harry Connick, Jr. - All These People (Official Music Video) - The best bloopers are here
Ahhh, you say. finally something out of our time after all the prehistoric songs Abbie has been posting. WRONG!!! I'm not your average kid, so don't count on me to act like one. I like jazz, reggae, country, and dub, instead of hip-hop. Here's a song that voices the victims of Katrina's Wrath.

Sha-la-la-la-lee (Small Faces)

This song dates back to the 60s! it's black and white, and the music quality isn't immaculate. but the song interests me. not the usual hogwash lyrics we find today, the old songs are stories with tune. =)

Run It Back Again (Corbin Bleu)

here's a song that expresses the truth of school and life: the one big popularity contest. often kids will take the wrong path just because he wants to be popular SO much...
